Introducing Our New Concertmaster
We’re excited to announce our new Concertmaster, Sidran Olson! Sidran studied violin at the University of Oregon, and has played with orchestras in California and Texas. She ran successful orchestra programs in the public schools for nine years, and continues to teach privately in the Salem area. She is currently a core member of the Newport Symphony Orchestra and the Salem Orchestra, and is fortunate to work with some fantastic colleagues in the Synergy Quartet.
She has been a member of the Salem Philharmonia Orchestra for four years and is delighted to be taking on the new role as Concertmaster for the 2024-2025 season! In the rare hours she is not making music, she enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons and spending time with her cat, Janeway.
