The Salem Philharmonia Orchestra will be accepting auditions for the following positions for the 2026/2027 concert season. (Click each instrument to view or download the audition packet):
- Section Violins
- Section Violas
- Section Cellos
- Principal/Section Bass
- Oboe 3/English Horn
- Clarinet 2
- Contrabassoon
- Principal/Section Trumpet
- Bass Trombone
AUDITION DETAILS
Date: Thursday, August 13, 2026
Time: 20-minute time slots will be scheduled starting at 3:30 pm
Start time may be earlier depending on the number of auditions
Location: Northgate Church – 360 Building, 2405 Carleton Way NE, Salem, OR 97301

ABOUT THE ORCHESTRA
The Salem Philharmonia is a volunteer community orchestra that rehearses and performs at the East Salem Community Center. Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings, 7:00–9:30 PM.
